For those who may feel that they aren't ready yet to book big industrial, commercial settings, and don't want to pay the going rates of some central London location houses, my home studio really is an ideal place for a more intimate type of shoot, as if you were at your home, with none of the tidying up after! Based in Covent garden, just 200m from the underground station, Long Acre studio is a beautiful, bijou 1 bedroom apartment overlooking the world famous freemason's hall inside a grade 2 listed building which was erected in the late 1800s, with period features such as 12ft ceilings, original fireplace and almost floor to length windows with shutters running the length of the property reflecting this.....
A decor of muted, neutral tones, classy, elegant and complimentary furniture including colour changing lighting, bleached wood room divider, 4ft white speakers, king size rococo bed, antique dressing table, ornate mirrors, shabby chic armchair, gigantic coffee table-come-dance floor Sticking out tongue and other stylish furniture and props.
Long Acre Home Studio really is an ideal setting to capture some unique images that will make your portfolio stand out from the rest.
If the sun happens to be out and you'd like to get some images out and about you are seconds away from the Piazza, Leicester Square and Neal's Yard. Practically every other tourist attraction is a few stops on the underground or a quick taxi away. The flat makes for the perfect base, with a fully equipped kitchen, dressing area and bathroom that make snack breaks and costume changes quick and easy.
